Spec has the potential to be a true all arounder! She
has a sweepy long-trot and is a fantastic loper; looks pretty going down the
rail either Western or English! She was shown in cart as a 3 year old and is
virtually spook proof. She easily navigates through a trail course inside
the show ring and out. She was started over fences last fall
and loves it - very even paced and happy going over the jumps. She does not
get at all hot, but does need continued work on her auto lead changes. Spec
is a fantastic showmanship pony and can complete the tightest of patterns!
She has a quiet, kind and gentle disposition. She has been ridden
double on trail rides at all 3 gaits with no objections. She is the kind of
pony you set the pace on and she will just stay there until you ask her to
change it!
She is 100% sane and sound and is guaranteed to pass a vet inspection!
Her only real vice is that you have to twitch to clip her ears. She has her
PHC at 54" as a medium mare. She is confirmationally correct and placed 10th
at the International in 2007 in the medium mare class. She is only 7 years
old, so she has a lifetime ahead of her! With more show ring time,
Spec has the potential to be one of those highly sought after ponies that
everyone is looking for as she has a lot of time left to teach kids how to
ride! Her disposition is a 10+ for the little ones and she has the movement
to be tough enough for a 13-18 rider!
Spec is currently in training with Lisa Jacobson for spring conditioning and will come to you completely conditioned and ready to go for the 2008 show season!
